Water Damage and flooding restoration works to Gordons Trattoria High Street Edinburgh Gordons Trattoria
Gordon contacted us to enquire if we could work 24 hours a day to repair the flood damage to the Kitchens at the Trattoria which were under 2 feet of water.
This is a very popular Restaurant in a popular Area set in the High Street of Edinburgh and the Flood happened in August which is the Festival month we were out straight away to Survey and prepare a specification of water damage repairs which accounted for starting the job at 12 midnight on a Sunday Evening after the last customer had left.
We worked 3 shifts working 24 hours a day for 5 days and we just got the works completed on time for the Restaurant to re open for Pre booked bookings 5 days after we started.
The job was complex and involved pumping out the water tanking the basement walls and floors utilizing industrial drying equipment and a full re decoration of all damaged areas.
The loss of earnings every day was higher than the cost of the works so it was vital we finished the job on time.
The job was completed on time and on Budget and we were treated to Pizzas by Gordon as a big thank you.
